Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in 2009 and graduated from the University of Alabama’s School of Law in 2012. While in law school, she volunteered as a Medicaid Long Term Care Ombudsman for West Alabama. She also volunteered with the Public Interest Clearing House Senior’s Rights Clinic in Melbourne, Australia. Jennifer was born in Albertville, Alabama. After graduating from Law School, Jennifer was awarded a fellowship from the Borchard Foundation Center on Law and Aging. As a 2012-2013 Borchard Fellow, Jennifer worked as a staff attorney for the Elder Law Clinic of the University of Alabama, School of Law representing older clients with legal matters such as residents’ rights, estate planning and Medicaid Long Term Care Planning. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Alabama. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the North Carolina Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Primary Areas of Practice Include: Estate Planning, Elder Law, Residents’ Rights, and Medicaid Long Term Care Planning.
